Vermeer and the Delft School

The London leg of the Met's survey of Vermeer and his Delft contemporaries. The full sixteen-entry Vermeer catalogue hung here, including Dresden's The Procuress (cat. 66) and Vienna's The Art of Painting, both highlights of the London tour that distinguished it from the New York leg. The privately owned Young Woman Seated at a Virginal travelled with the show, lent by Baron Frédéric Rolin.
