Making the Difference: Vermeer and Dutch Art
The Osaka leg of the Tokyo Vermeer show, reduced to six paintings, the most ever shown in Osaka. The Procuress travelled to Japan for the first time, and The Love Letter was shown only at this venue. Girl with the Red Hat, the Milkmaid, and the Berlin and Dresden canvases seen in Tokyo did not travel to Osaka.
