The Osaka leg of the Tokyo Vermeer show, reduced to six paintings — the most ever shown in Osaka. The Procuress travelled to Japan for the first time. The NGA's Girl with the Red Hat and A Lady Writing, on view in Tokyo, returned to Washington before the Osaka opening.
