Ten Vermeers shown alongside around fifty contemporary Dutch genre paintings — the largest Vermeer exhibition ever held in Germany. Curated by Uta Neidhardt with Stephan Koja, and built around the restoration of Girl Reading a Letter at an Open Window, which revealed a previously overpainted Cupid.
