Exhibition of Dutch Art, 1450–1900

The Royal Academy's vast survey of Dutch art at Burlington House included nine accepted Vermeers — among them Diana and her Companions, View of Delft, The Milkmaid, The Little Street and Girl with a Pearl Earring — alongside four further works attributed to Vermeer in the catalogue (since rejected). The largest gathering of Vermeers seen in Britain before the 21st century.
