Ueno Royal Museum

The Ueno Royal Museum is an art museum in Ueno Park, in the Taitō ward of Tokyo, Japan. Operated by the Japan Art Association, it dates from the early twentieth century and stands among the cluster of cultural institutions for which Ueno Park is known.

The museum does not maintain a large permanent collection but is devoted chiefly to temporary exhibitions, including art competitions and travelling shows of Japanese and international art.
