Sedelmeyer Gallery

The Sedelmeyer Gallery was a leading art dealership in Paris, France, run by the Austrian-born dealer Charles Sedelmeyer in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Dealing especially in Old Master paintings as well as work by contemporary artists, the gallery was a prominent fixture of the European art market of its day and figures in the provenance of numerous important paintings that passed through its hands.
