Scuderie del Quirinale

Rome, Italy

The Scuderie del Quirinale is an exhibition hall in Rome, Italy, situated on the Quirinal Hill across from the Quirinal Palace. The building originally served as the papal stables, and following an extensive restoration it reopened in 1999 as a venue dedicated to major temporary art exhibitions.

It does not maintain a permanent collection of its own; instead it hosts large-scale loan exhibitions devoted to individual artists and historical themes, drawing works from museums in Italy and abroad. The space has become one of the city's principal sites for internationally prominent art shows.
