The Queen's Gallery, Buckingham Palace
London, United Kingdom
The Queen's Gallery at Buckingham Palace in London is a public gallery that displays works from the Royal Collection, the art holdings held in trust by the British monarch. It was created in a former chapel on the south side of the palace and first opened to the public in 1962.
The gallery presents a programme of changing exhibitions drawn from the Royal Collection, which encompasses paintings, drawings, furniture, decorative arts and other objects gathered over centuries. Following the accession of King Charles III, the space has been renamed the King's Gallery.
