Oslo Kunstforening

Oslo, Norway

Oslo Kunstforening is an art society and exhibition venue in Oslo, Norway, founded in 1836 as Christiania Kunstforening. It is one of the oldest art institutions in the country and played an important early role in collecting and promoting Norwegian art.

Today it operates primarily as a kunsthall, presenting changing exhibitions of contemporary art rather than maintaining a permanent collection on display.
