The Museum of Fine Arts (Szépművészeti Múzeum) is the principal museum of international art in Budapest, Hungary. It is located on Heroes' Square and is housed in a monumental building in the Neoclassical and Eclectic style that opened in 1906.
Its collections range across Egyptian and Classical antiquities, European sculpture, and a celebrated gallery of Old Master paintings, with notable strength in Spanish, Italian, German and Netherlandish art, including works by El Greco, Raphael and Goya.
