The Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia) is an encyclopedic art museum in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. Established in the early twentieth century by the Minneapolis Society of Fine Arts, its neoclassical building was designed by the firm McKim, Mead & White and opened in 1915, with later additions by architects including Kenzo Tange.

Its permanent collection numbers in the tens of thousands of objects spanning some five thousand years and many cultures, including European painting, Asian art, prints and drawings, photography, and decorative arts. Admission to the general collection is free.
