Meadows Museum
Dallas, United States
The Meadows Museum is an art museum on the campus of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. It grew out of the collection of the oil executive Algur H. Meadows, who gave his holdings of Spanish art to the university; the museum first opened in 1965.
It holds one of the largest and most comprehensive collections of Spanish art outside Spain, spanning from the medieval period to the twentieth century, with works by artists such as El Greco, Velázquez, Goya and Picasso.
