Laing Art Gallery

The Laing Art Gallery is an art gallery in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. It was founded by the wine and spirit merchant Alexander Laing and opened in 1904, and is today managed by Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums.
The gallery holds a collection of British oil paintings, watercolours and decorative art, including works by artists associated with the north-east of England, and presents temporary exhibitions alongside its permanent displays.
