The Dallas Museum of Art is an art museum in the Arts District of downtown Dallas, Texas. Founded in 1903 as the Dallas Art Association, it moved in 1984 to its present building, designed by the architect Edward Larrabee Barnes, along Flora Street.

Its collection spans more than 5,000 years and many cultures, with notable strengths in the arts of the Americas, Africa, Asia and the Pacific, as well as European and American painting and contemporary art. The museum is among the largest in the United States and offers free general admission.
